The Product Support Engineer is responsible for providing deep level technical support to company Field Engineers, Call Center Agents, and Customers who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex database software problems.
In this role, the selected candidate will be accountable for holding team members accountable for their performance, including taking appropriate corrective action and disciplinary action if performance or behavior is not sustained.
The successful candidate will be immersed in a highly interactive and dynamic environment, interact with cross-functional teams to integrate drivers and peripheral software, triage system-level issues, and propose solutions while working on the latest cutting-edge technology.
The successful candidate will provide functional leadership and operations engineering expertise on a team responsible for providing engineering support and solutions to Transmission Dispatchers, Outage Request Coordinators and Program Engineers in the Grid Control department.
The Production Engineer Assistant will assist the Manager with the execution of production throughout the product lifecycle, including: working closely with planning, sales & marketing and customer service to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, and to standard.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain frequent formal and informal customer interface to present project status; determines feasibility of changing customer requirements and may propose and/or negotiate changes in schedules or methodology in coordination with program management.
