The primary responsibility of the Pharmacist is to ensure accuracy when performing all duties associated with the dispensing of pharmaceuticals, provide customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, and provide leadership and guidance to supporting staff.
Coordinates access to medications according to facility policy and procedures, and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations; review and monitoring of profiles and lab values for therapeutic outcomes.
In this role, you will be responsible for assuring that medication schedules are appropriate in relation to the patient's ability to metabolize and eliminate specific drug compounds (i.e., aminoglycoside kinetics, geriatric kinetics, heparin dosing, etc.).
The Pharmacist I is a licensed professional who is responsible for providing safe and appropriate pharmacy services to Option Care patients in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Option Care, pharmacy practice professional standards, and applicable regulatory entities.
