The selected candidate will serves as the key financial contact for audits conducted by the Defense Control Audit Agency (DCAA). Provides assistance for internal and external audits to ensure integrity of financial reporting systems and processes.
In this role, the selected candidate will work on automation of cost accounting journal entries; prepare inventory accounting entries, including E&O reserves, and physical inventory count reconciliations and reporting.
The cost accountant is responsible for preparation of financial statements, standard costs, variance and capital expenditure analysis, budgeting and cost control, responsible for standard costing issues, inventory, & general accounting.
As a Cost Accountant / Analyst, you must be highly organized with excellent time-management and prioritization skills; you must also have a methodical approach to problem-solving and a strong work ethic.
