You participate in daily meetings with network operations center (NOC) staff to discuss network stability/performance, critical issues, end user concerns/perception, open trouble tickets and planned maintenance.
The right candidate will have a strong understanding of software life cycle, will have a strong ability to multi-task, will be an impeccable communicator, and will have general technical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications such as, Windows, Exchange, SQL Server, and Office.
As a Product Support Engineer for Pyxis specialty products (ex. CIISafe, Supply), you will be acting as an escalation point for technical issues and help increase efficiency by driving knowledge sharing across the Technical Support Center.
In this role, the selected candidate will be working closely with the product development team consisting of software, hardware, networking, Security and Systems Engineers to execute a variety of technical activities.
Provide application software development services or technical support for new and/or existing applications. Review system requirements and business processes and develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications.
Assist Sales and Sales Management in the planning and execution of technical pre-sales and demonstration requirements for all accounts needing applications or technical pre-sales support, with a goal to define a closure plan and grow sales.
Discover design requirements from the system level down to each individual element collaborating with the design, production and/or engineering depts. to develop/execute technical strategies that help solve customer design challenges.
