Provide systems services and support for solutions used by the team for monitoring, reporting, and alerting on portfolio solutions. Measures of success include the ability to identify and implement proactive services that accurately monitor and report systems status information for the purpose of maximizing uptime and optimizing systems performance.
This individual is accountable for the following systems: Windows systems that support the ACE-IT Administrative LAN/WAN; Windows and Application systems that support Asset Management; Responsibilities on these systems include SA engineering and provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation.
The System Administrator will manage the installation, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting for both network performance and the applications/servers used on a government network for that purpose.
In this role, the selected candidate will mentor System Support Specialist to perform tasks which include but not limited to end-user support, trouble ticket resolution, file-system/disk management, server installation/configuration, and process/procedural updates.
The Systems Administrator will conduct system problem diagnosis and troubleshooting, submitting problem reports for site, calling in for daily meetings, keeping Site Lead, IAs, and key management informed with any site issues at all times.
