In this role, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in Emergency Room setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision.
The RN UNIT REGISTERED NURSE delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Provides direction, training and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel by utilizing problem solving techniques in decision making, organizing, setting priorities and using time effectively. Delegates appropriately.
The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervising, and evaluating the nursing care of patients and correlating the nursing process with the Medical plan of care and established policies and procedures. Should demonstrate compassion, respect, and understanding of human worth, dignity and spirit.
Provides health care instructions to the patient as appropriate per assessment and plan of care. Identifies discharge planning needs as part of the care plan development and implements prior to discharge of the patient.
