This position is responsible for creating, duplicating, and re-engineering basic to complex electrical schematic and layout drawings and drawing packets of industrial control panels and associated equipment for automation and drive systems. Design systems from performance related specifications and/or concepts.
Proactively identify and suggest areas for improvement. Assist with preparation and/or updates necessary to meet customer needs. Post documents according to defined process. Develop and maintain knowledge base articles via support portal for internal and external customers. Excellence in written case documentation is expected.
In this role you will utilize Six Sigma tools to improve processes to reduce product cost and Cost of Poor Quality. The Selected Candidate will maintain capacity analysis and specify equipment, qualify and implement, to maintain capacity balanced with Demand ( SIOP ).
The Machine Design Engineer will develop plans for special machines and automated processes while working with the customer to conceptualize, mechanically design, develop operational profiles and oversee the fabrication of specialized machinery and automated processes.
This position will provide technical leadership and support to manufacturing to ensure less downtime and greater efficiencies. Responsible for leading continuous improvement, maintaining and revising existing equipment and the installation and process preparation of new equipment.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop concept designs; source and fabricate needed components; oversee installation; personally program and debug the system; etc. either in house or in the field.
Utilize 6-Sigma & Lean techniques to enhance Production, Yield, Quality Improvements and bring about Corrective Actions; focus on reducing Costs & Material Variance while eliminating Off Standard Material and improving Energy Productivity.
