In this role, the selected candidate will ensure the pharmacy facilities and processes are compliant with most recent regulations/guidelines; maintain and further develop facilities and processes relevant to the pharmacy.
The Clinical Pharmacist in the Critical Care position will have responsibilities which include direct patient care, multi-disciplinary rounds, pharmacy managed protocols, involvement in formulary decisions and medication reconciliation activities that promote safe, effective medication use.
In this role, you will direct and manage workflow including oversight of technicians, interns and volunteers ensuring the accuracy of their work in accordance with departmental procedures and federal and state regulations.
In this role, you will ensuring patient safety by appropriateness of medication therapy through medication order verification, chart review, home medication, participation in patient care rounds, patient counseling, and monitoring lab, cultures, etc.
In this role, you will be responsible for customer satisfaction by providing support and serving as a resource for nurses, physicians and other health care providers medication information and education.
