Responsible for timely preparation and completion of tax compliance for multiple entities. This involves the preparation of tax work papers and tax returns using tax software. Additional responsibilities include reconciliations of general ledger tax accounts, involvement in tax audits and various research projects.
Maintains adequate accounting and control for various accounting functions. Maintains and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts. Prepares financial statements and reports. Maintains and develops automated accounting systems, controls, and procedures. Prepares and develops reports for management and/or for regulatory authorities.
Identify compliance (registration) requirements of various jurisdictions domestically and internationally and coordinate registration as needed, communicating accordingly with Company's international locations.
Maintain and oversee the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income. Compile and analyze financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify for accuracy and inconsistencies.
Contribute to department administration as requested by Director, including scheduling, budgeting, preparing and/or presenting presentations to management, and developing content for department training.
