Common tasks for this position include data organization, database development, statistical computing and modeling, interpretation and discussion of results with research teams, auditing data quality, creation of publication-ready graphs and tables, documentation of data.
Lead and direct multidisciplinary teams, set project standards and monitor progress, handle significant budget responsibilities, and communicate interim and final results to the community and to senior policy making audiences.
A Principal Statistician should be a strong individual contributor, beginning to demonstrate leadership qualities and creative and strategic thinking. He or she should have experience with regulatory interactions both in the US and outside of the US. He or she must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
