The individual in this position will work as a member of the IT staff on the Network Engineering Team and will have the opportunity to work with experts in software engineering, Internet security, and network survivability.
The UX Designer will be involved in all aspects of user-centered design including information architecture, task analysis, user flows, navigation, interaction design and interactive wireframe prototypes.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform as a design Engineer that enable the evolution of ideas into engineered drawings; develop/illustrate using 3D software, specifically Inventor, Solidworks, or 3D AutoCAD.
Design, code, test, and implement web sites and applications, for either internal or external uses; troubleshoot and resolve issues surrounding performance, response times, capacity and system limitations.
Visually capturing or representing user research artifacts (personas, stakeholder maps, decision and information needs, Concept of Operations Roadmaps, domain workflows, etc.) to further critical thinking and communication both internally and externally.
There are no direct reports for this position. Supervisory responsibilities will include direction of lower level engineers, technicians, and assemblers to accomplish program objectives, such as the build, test, and evaluation of prototype hardware and batteries.
This role will serves as an eLearning consultant to Business-specific learning teams throughout the organization by providing technical consultation on a variety of design topics, including interactive and technology driven activities, video and audio elements, and instructional design technology and software.
