Must have understanding of AWS environment and how to copy database to AWS by building environment Infrastructure in AWS Cloud and copy database; experience in building a copy of Client Production database using tools, scripts, process.
The Database Developers role is to strategically design, write, test and implement database application code. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
The Application Developer will provide support to existing production applications and perform complex technical analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, deployment and implementation of new applications using existing and emerging platforms.
This position independently contributes to SERS application enhancement and SERIS modernization efforts using PL/SQL, Shell scripting technologies, some Oracle ADF and some Oracle Forms/Reports process.
Interact with the other departments to understand and identify informational needs, problems and requirements and works with other members of the IT organization to deliver applications, data warehouse and custom reporting solutions to address those needs.
Works with the Departments Applications Group supervisor to develop, deliver, and implement web-based applications supporting Streets Department referrals and recycling plan submissions. Additionally, the application developer will develop SQL Server Reporting Service Reports (SSRS) in support of data accessibility and Department performance management.
Works with mathematical concepts such as averages and/or variances and applies concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.Organizational Effectiveness.
