In this role, you will organize and administer individualized age specific professional care to patients undergoing diagnostic, interventional procedures, electrophysiology studies, ablations, drug studies and tilt tests.
The scope of responsibilities include, but not limited to daily rounds with the surgical team, patient assessments, pre and post operative patient care, diagnostic interpretations, admissions, and discharges. The identified supervising physicians will evaluate the NP/PAs Clinical Skills and Competence as part of their annual performance review.
The Advanced Practice Provider (CRNP/PA-C) will become an autonomous member of a multi-disciplinary Heart Team and will be responsible for initial and ongoing cardiovascular assessments serving a population with complex valvular heart disease.
The Nurse Practitioner, in the Neurology Department, provides direct clinical care to patients with neurologically related diagnoses and diseases, assesses and manages routine, acute and chronic problems, performs routine disease related care and obtains consultation, when appropriate, from physicians and specialists.
