In this role, the selected candidate partners with the Executive Director on recruiting, hiring, new hire orientation, training and in-services for the Resident Care Partners, Medication Assistants, LPNs and Lead Resident Care Partners.
Develop and implement appropriate staffing and scheduling assignments. In order to drive departmental performance, assignments will reflect appropriate utilization of personnel, considering scope of practice, competencies, patient needs and complexity of care.
In this role, you will demonstrate leadership abilities, effective communication skills, keen assessment skills, flexibility, initiative, the ability to anticipate and pre-plan and be able to manage time effectively.
As a nurse manager, you will lead a hospice interdisciplinary team and ensure excellent clinical and social care. You will develop relationships within the community and local facilities, and collaborate with other hospice providers.
In this role, the selected candidate will complete routine and emergency assessments on each patient as indicated by departmental policy; coordinate clinical and psycho-social and spiritual services as indicated by Plan of Care through case management.
In this role, you will work with operations, non clinical supervisors and clinical supervisors to define required staffing needs that support reimbursement and clinical excellence and resource maximization. Interface with scheduling staff to establish and assure optimal resources and coverage for the program.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience working with individuals diagnosed with chronic conditions or pregnancy; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer, and proficient typing skills.
