The HR Specialist will create and drive the new employee onboarding process for a WOW experience involving the facilitation of new hire orientation, pre-employment screenings, job training, mentor assignments, stay interviews, onboarding assessment to determine ROI and ensuring there is a smooth transition with department orientations.
In this role, you will provide support to operations leadership in a variety of areas such as: insights to issues arising within the facility, performance appraisal assistance, managerial coaching, conflict resolution, progressive counseling, etc.
The HR Specialist will be responsible for the onboarding of new employees, ensuring an exceptional, seamless and positive experience with College through the coordination of all new hire onboarding activities.
The incumbent will also be responsible for processing executive level transactions that require a broad knowledge of internal and external HR processes as well as procedural impacts. The incumbent will be expected to participate and contribute to process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for improving quality and reducing costs across the HRSC teams.
In this role, you will serve as subject matter expert and point of contact for hr systems and technology which includes the satisfactorily system related inquiries and requests from department heads and other business stakeholders.
