The Director of Human Resources is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and operation of human resources and the human resources team across all PHRG locations; directs and advises management at each location on polices, action recommendations and practices to support the companies' strategic success.
Lead and participate in requirements analysis, design, and implementation of content management, telecom, and other technology solutions. Project manage vendors. Ensure the appropriateness and validity of tools needed and all work performed.
This position requires the ability to work with and support all teams, management, projects, etc. for a large manufacturing facility; must have experience with audits, investigations, compliance, recruitment as well as excellent communication skills.
Identify and implement best practices for full lifecycle of employee development including recruitment, orientation, training and development, performance management, retention and succession planning.
Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes and provide leadership on employee development activities, including the creation and implementation of formal training initiatives.
Provides leadership to maintain and enhance effective labor (in coordination with the Labor team) and employee relations practices necessary to allow company to recruit and retain the best diverse talent, promote a high level of employee morale and minimize risk to the organization.
Serve as a visible, approachable, responsive and credible advocate for all associates. Build a reputation for fairness, integrity and customer service. Proactively seek feedback from associates and leaders to foster a personally and professionally fulfilling work environment.
The HR Director will partner with site leaders and the HR team to provide overall HR leadership including labor relations, performance management, recruiting, HR regulatory compliance, compensation and benefits administration, and leadership development.
