The CNC Field Service Technician will have an extensive understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to effectively detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components.
The Field Service Engineer within the Environmental & Process Monitoring Business Unit is responsible for providing field support to customers in Industrial Settings to ensure the stable and ongoing operations of customer purchased equipment.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will travel from your home to customer sites in a regional area to work on a project through completion. In this hands-on role, you will own the project, working from start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, through to completion of your project.
Analyze, identify, and resolve technical problems or complaints from customers in order to maintain and increase business. Collaborate across functions teams to address complex technical problems or customer complaints. Work on customer line to solve complaints or process issues.
In this role, you will provide technical and product application support directly with customers and to the Manufacturers Reps (Reps), Authorized Distributors (ADs), and Vertical Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) to help drive opportunity creation, new business wins, and overall sales growth in the assigned territory.
Collaborates in reviewing project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
Evaluate, design, and estimate natural gas distribution facilities for new business, public and system improvement, and maintenance projects according to company standards and other applicable guidelines and codes.
Conduct GIS mapping research, in the field and in the office, to resolve conflicting information and ensure the accuracy of the data; assist Field Survey Manager in overseeing field related change management procedures to maintain accuracy and completeness of GIS information.
The FSE will perform complex customer support activities involving onsite installation, service, repair, hardware/software integration, process and development support, test support, troubleshooting, and training at customer site in a timely and cost effective manner.

This position will be responsible for technical support for the Americas Retail Channel. The focus of this position will be to provide OEM and end-user support for all CPI products sold into the market segment with a primary focus of providing field technical support for the BNR.
