Facilitates change and innovation for patients/populations within the department, the health care system, and the community. Analyzes and utilizes data, including patient satisfaction data, QI data, other data relevant to specialty populations, and incident report/safety net data to identify opportunities for improvement and to develop a plan of action to improve outcomes.
Participates in peer reviews, chart reviews, staff education, clinical guideline development, and other continuing education and quality assurance activities to demonstrate compliance with standards, regulations, policies, and procedures. Acts as consultant/collaborator to clinical team on area of specialty.
Works in collaboration with the clinical staff (Medical team, Physical therapy, Social Work, etc.), Out of Area Specialist, Business Offices, to ensure all aspects of the patients/families care coordination results in an ideal patient experience.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide quality, efficient and effective patient care in accordance with standards/guidelines, applicable statutory requirements and accepted clinical practice for the nurse practitioner profession.
