The Senior Staff Accountant will act as a liaison between the CPA firm, new and existing clients mainly servicing the Agriculture Industry and local lending institutions with those in particular that have agriculture departments or agriculture specialties in their banking environment.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for complex activities associated with the functional work group's accounting transactions, financial reports and internal controls over financial reporting. This is a key contributor in a complex environment who may lead functional teams or projects.
In this role, you will completes month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities related to foreign exchange, cash management and tax, and subsidiary regulatory reporting, including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activities.
In this role, you will acting as a vital team member on the International Tax Accounting team as they: - work on quarterly review and analysis of the non-US portions of the effective tax rate, footnote and other SEC disclosures - assist local non-US accounting personnel with FAS 109 issues and training
In this role, you will be responsible to perform day to day accounting for clients to include bank reconciliations, accounts receivables, accounts payable, basic general ledger, journal entries and month end close.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing basic to moderately intricate corporate action events for multiple markets. This includes the daily interpretation, monitoring, and scrubbing of corporate action events as well as the monitoring and posting of accruals to client accounts.
