The Accountant assists in the maintenance of one or more accounting systems within the assigned function(s). In compliance with company policies and procedures, the Accountant reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations, including but not limited to Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP).
In this role, you will be responsible for preparation of invoicing to customers -- milestone billings, progress type billings, shipment billings. Must be pro-active and own the collection process; responsible for contracting customers prior to the invoice due date to ensure timely collection.
The Tax Accountant is responsible for the preparation of simple to moderate Federal and State tax returns, estimates, and extensions filed for the consolidated group and affiliates including preparation of accurate tax work papers.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of multiple general ledgers. The position assures the reliability of revenue, expense, and all balance sheet accounts. The position creates formal month-end statements with reporting responsibilities to the Accounting Manager.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain journals and ledgers, prepares financial
statements, conducts financial studies and coordinates financial projects; work with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.
In this role, the selected candidate will control financial, contractual, and cost administration for numerous government projects; must have experience in project accounting, FAR, GAAP, DCAA compliance, and indirect cost calculations.
