The Assistant Superintendent will help with daily operations including the project staff and subcontractors scheduling, management, safety, planning, and helps coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within time frame by performing the following duties personally or through management responsibilities.
Utilize the Contract Manager Software to generate and track subcontracts, purchase orders and bonds, and other project management functions as required; support the project team to include the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendent and other support staff.
Coordinate, manage schedules, make appointments, arrange and coordinate travel schedules and agendas, as needed.Answer, screen and direct incoming calls of a complex nature, determining those that can be handled by subordinates to the executive.
Perform on-call duties to include (but not limited to) accepting after hours phone calls from patients and from hospital nursing personnel. Dispensing medical advice regarding these inquiries in accordance with existing patient treatment policies.
Responsible for working in a safe and protective manner at all times keeping in mind that safety and environmental hazards are the responsibility of all employees for themselves, other staff members and patients.
Act as a liaison and maintains contact with patients, Physical Therapist, Clinical Manager(s), other members of the healthcare team and the community in assuring effective care coordination and appropriate resource referrals.
Provide leadership, direction, and assistance during emergencies while maintaining a comforting and reassuring environment for patients; assist with onboarding of other clinicians, particularly advanced practitioners of which they will be supervising.
Perform geotechnical engineering analyses, including geotechnical characterization and selection of soil engineering properties, applying geotechnical engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using computer software including SEEP/W for seepage analyses, UTEXAS for stability analyses, conducting consolidation analyses of clays subject to ramp loading and deriving undrained shear strength profiles in accordance with SHANSEP design methodology, and applying understanding of experience with the hydraulic conductivity behavior of compacted clays.
