The Human Resources Director will direct, counsel and execute against the human resources strategic goals, including talent management. Responsible for working with specified client groups totaling several hundred associates that range from associate band to executive management band.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
In this role, you will provide coaching and mentoring at the senior management level particularly in the areas of talent management, employee engagement and employee relations / communications. Provide managers with strategic direction regarding organizational structure and approaches to leverage staffing and talent needs.
In this role, you will be responsible for labor agreement administration in a team environment, including serving as company spokesman in meetings with Labor Representatives to review and respond to cases involving discipline, claim and grievances appeals for single and/or multiple labor agreements, including written and/or verbal advocacy for cases advanced to arbitration.
Responsible for evaluating and suggesting new benefit or compensation structures or changes to existing plans. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
In this role, the selected candidate will participate in annual operating plan discussions for assigned business operations and develops appropriate Human Resources plans in support of key business needs.
