The Application Support Developer I is responsible for ensuring that the company's applications operate efficiently and execute successfully to meet client and business needs. This position involves production support, code analysis, and development work focused on the operational characteristics of the company applications.
In this role, the selected candidate will participate in the product defect/enhancement closed loop process by accurately identifying defects and enhancements, and communicating status updates to the client.
In this role, you will create Transmission file setups for clients on Mainframe and midrange environments using secure and work with operations, IT Teams, Clients and other departments to support daily transmissions and resolve problems.
In this role, you will create management tool reports under general supervision, gathering data from various systems and developing/establishing reports into a customer-friendly format for use by management in the accomplishment of their mission; is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within data management field; relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
