As a Staff Registered Nurse (Hemodialysis RN) you see your patients three to four times each week for a few hours at a time; while they receive their treatments. The dialysis lifestyle can be very trying for our patients. By forming relationships with them, our nurses understand each patient's unique needs and help ease some of their burden.
In this role, you will work with the patient and the family to develop a prioritized patient problem list and helps develop plans of care. He / She will also evaluate the patient/family response to care and makes appropriate adjustments as needed.
The registered nurse shall be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.
In this role, the selected candidate must have experience in a medium to large sized facility strongly preferred Unit: 39 bed adult Orthopedic unit with total joint/spine/sports and traumatic injuries.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care, implementing care, delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care, evaluating responses to interventions, and performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation.
