The Director of Engineering is a key member of the leadership team and will lead a team of approximately 4 engineers. They will plan and oversee the organization's engineering activities including coordination of research and development , new product development, product modification and improvement activities in conformance with established programs and objectives, documentation of best practices, and provide engineering advice and technical assistance to other departments.
The Director of Quality Management is responsible for planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes.
Leads cross-functional teams within the Perioperative departments in improvement projects that are moderately complex in nature and that produce measurable outcomes in clinical practice, patient safety and service, and operational performance to include financial gains.
This individual will be responsible for building a world class engineering team including a network of external engineering consultants, jointly developing the strategic plan for the business, developing and executing engineering budgets, establishing a robust new product development and product modification process, ongoing maintenance of business activity and collaborating effectively with all the other business functions including Finance, Product Management, Quality, Application Engineering, Sales and Marketing and Operations.
In this role, the selected candidate will oversee all aspects of HR ranging from employee relations, investigations, recruiting and compliance; must be proactive in all investigations and training of employee relations to management.
Director of Environmental Health and Safety inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance. Install safety devices on machinery, or direct device installation.
Ensure financial controls are monitored and adhered to: accounting, capital, expense payable, etc. Monitor and review daily and weekly facility results including productivity, cost and service KPIs and provide analysis/recommendations to senior management regarding opportunities and variances.
The successful candidate will ensure consistent safety performance by coordinating, administering and implementing comprehensive training programs; and will respond to reported accidents to evaluate current best practices and recommend changes where necessary.
In this role, you will be responsible for Maintenance and Clinical Engineering teams for preventive maintenance of buildings, Clinical and non-clinical equipment, grounds and the respective fiscal budgets.
