As a Nurse, you'll treat patients who typically go without access to health care. For patients that reside in a corrections or psychiatric hospital environment, the care you provide may be the only friendly, compassionate and nonjudgmental interaction they encounter in their day.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care for a defined group of patients according to the hospitals philosophy of patient care and standards of professional nursing practice.
As a Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse (PD RN), you educate your patients on how to do their own dialysis from their homes, and you take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their treatment stays on track.
In this role, you will ensure the compassionate, professional delivery of all dialysis-related nursing services in an outpatient setting; provide the highest level of care to our patients and ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being.
In this role, you will provide adequate information & instructions to the patient/family/significant other throughout hospitalization & discharge according to patient/families ability & willingness to learn.
In this role, you will assess, plan and evaluate patient care needs; prioritize patient care based on acuity level and available resources; administer prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs.
In this role, the selected candidate will implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols. Intervenes with proper safety techniques, procedures and standard precautions.
