The senior analyst brand finance supports the financial performance and delivery of key p&l components of assigned functional departments within brand adidas. Responsible for ensuring proper planning (budgeting/forecasting), reporting and management of cost center related issues for assigned departments.
The primary responsibilities for this role are in the following areas: Lead in the development and implementation of new accounting guidance. Research proposed accounting standards, interpret impact to accounting and financial reporting disclosures, the companys financial position and results of operations. Work with product divisions to understand potential impacts. Prepare written and/or oral presentations for management.
Produce and interpret regular financial reports and ad-hoc analyses with focus on key performance metrics, helping to drive profitable revenue growth and ensure that decisions are made based on relevant facts and provide actionable insights.
In this role, you must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, cross functional business leaders, and peers, including non-financial professionals.
Responsible for both specific and general financial activities or functions including assistance in the areas of profitability analysis, operating expense trends, business plan development, budgeting, cost accounting, project accounting and other areas relating to financial or managerial accounting and analysis.
