Responsible for both specific and general financial activities or functions including assistance in the areas of profitability analysis, operating expense trends, business plan development, budgeting, cost accounting, project accounting and other areas relating to financial or managerial accounting and analysis.
The Vendor Risk Management Analyst role will be primarily responsible for the coordination of activities associated with the Third Party Risk Management Program within The Standard's Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) group.
Facilitate the review and analysis of business requirements as well as the design of solutions for new and existing applications and collaborates with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements.
The Business Analyst effectively facilitates the gathering, analysis, prioritization and categorization of complex business requirements in the revenue business lines s/he supports; leads and directs business teams in medium to large projects creating new business solutions or enhancements to existing business solutions.
Evaluate business requirements, decompose high-level information into functional requirements, validate that requirements are based upon business needs rather than user preferences, reconcile conflicts, and then document the functional requirements.
Work with management, programmers, auditors and other personnel to determine appropriate security policies for securable resources, including data, software applications, hardware and telecommunications.
The Credit Analyst also reviews customer accounts and portfolios in order to identify, evaluate and determine the appropriate course of action on potential credit quality issues in order to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential loss to the company.
