The Territory Sales Manager works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
In this role, you will be responsible for account development and territory development through existing account follow up, cold calling / prospecting, telemarketing lead follow up, target marketing and business development meetings.
In this role, the selected candidate will attend and support trade shows within the assigned territory, make recommendations on what shows to attend; assist in the establishment of budgets (sales, costs and margins) and assure that budgeted commitments are met.
This position will lead the region sales team to accomplish regional sales goals and organizational objectives to position the broad product portfolio of Merck Animal Health [MAH], with emphasis on the vaccines, Bravecto, Home Again microchip and assorted pharmaceuticals.
In this role, the selected candidate will effectively and aggressively manage complex sales relationships distributor, dealer, builder and specifier-based on value selling; (this product has to be sold and requires that you tell the story).
In this role, the selected candidate will perform required administrative activities including, but not limited to quote and proposal generation, update opportunity and account information in SalesForce.com weekly, submit expense reports weekly, develop and maintain account plans.
As a Regional Sales Manager, this individual will be responsible for solution selling within a given territory focusing on school districts up to 25,000 students, Education Service Centers and state departments of education.
