The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works as part of the Clinical Operations Team, providing clinical assessment and care to assigned patients in their homes and in skilled nursing facilities; identifying quality improvement activities and planning individualized health care consistent with Matrix Medical Network policy protocols.
The NP / FNP should work independently with physician back - up as required by diagnostic uncertainty or inability of the practitioner to address the complaint due to scope of practice or complexity of the problem
Responsible for managing the care of critically ill neonates with life-threatening conditions including respiratory distress, neurologic complications, gastrointestinal diseases, renal abnormalities, neonatal abstinence syndrome as well as many other medical and surgical diagnosis.
