Perform work which involves conventional electrical engineering practice, but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials, limited budgets, and difficult coordination requirements.
Reports issues/concerns that affect the operational stability of any production system or environment to management; participates in emergency meetings and actions to resolve major outages of server, networking, or telecom. Completes other duties as assigned.
Study and develop cutting-edge techniques in deep learning, graphs, machine learning, and data analytics, and perform in-depth analysis and optimization to ensure the best possible performance on current- and next-generation GPU architectures.
Manage individual customer self-release programs including procedure preparation and maintenance, purchase order/control review, inspection of parts (audit/sampling) for conformance to requirements, direct contact with customer representatives and handling any customer returns/complaints.
Work with modern tools and frameworks targeting modern browsers while developing browser based applications, with additional opportunities to work on our Clojure services and other back-end components.
You will interact closely with the architecture and driver teams at company in ensuring the best possible experience on current generation hardware, and on determining trends and features for next generation architectures.
Demonstrated understanding of high-throughput, real-time signal and/or video processing technology with experience in MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MPEG-DASH, HLS, video muxing and de-muxing, and/or codecs such as H.264 and H.265.
Prepare systems specifications, project plans, and other internal documents. Ensure users and partners understand nature of work being performed, as well as time frames and milestones. Provide regular status updates to supervisors and stakeholders.
