The job will entail: verifying digital timing performance, noise analysis, logic equivalence, power characterization, netlist support of layout tasks, analysis of late changing process files, generating of Hard IP collateral for SOC consumption, verifying collateral quality, and providing collateral support to SOC customers.
Responsibilities may include: the design of chip layout circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation and characterization, documentation of specifications, prototype construction and checkout, modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components, performing developmental and/or test work, reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams, planning and organizing design projects or phases of design projects. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
This work will be mainly in the synthesis and auto place and route (APR) areas. The CW team will take all of the required input files and scripts needed to run through the synthesis (RTL to netlist) and APR flows from floorplan to converged layout.
Communicates with supervisor/project manager to understand the assigned tasks and the budgeted hours. Works efficiently to stay within budget. Helps to identify scope creep and to identify when tasks are more complex than anticipated.
Participates in semi-complex drawings to suit engineering changes and processes engineering change requests; supports the creation of semi-complex design layouts and detadrawings of semi-complex products.
The Quality Engineer Outage Services will support the Quality System needs of the Outage Services Division and provide a resource for developing and implementing good Quality practices while supporting the Divisions overall business objectives.
The Energy Engineer monitors and reports on energy, water, and solid waste data, implement improvements to the tracking systems, participate in and take direction from the energy conservation team, and champion improvements to reduce energy, water, and waste volumes and costs. The position will pay for itself through these savings.
