Assist the government in test planning and implementing integrated product and process development using program development acquisition strategy with incremental capability deliveries to the war fighter.

Assist in translating DoD user requirements into system requirements which will be used by the weapon system contractor to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate systems, subsystems, and equipment for deployment.
Prepare, check and/or approve the specifications for electrical and hydraulic mechanical systems including but not limited to interconnecting electrical wiring, electro/hydro mechanical motors and hydraulic hoses/tubes/fittings, and electronic control systems.
Develop, deploy, and maintain processes to assure weapon systems are fully integrated, manufactured, sustained, configuration managed and operationally safe, suitable and effective throughout their life cycle.
