The Engineer will design and facilitate implementation of information security and IT controls within Cardinal Healths enterprise SAP implementations and provide troubleshooting support throughout the project lifecycle.
This responsibility involves adhering to system backup procedures, maintaining internal and external communications to file and application servers, and ensuring that all server/storage/backup related hardware and software is maintained and updated to optimize system efficiency.
Coordinates and maintains all environment changes to the systems, and is responsible for ensuring that the availability of the supported environment meets negotiated service level agreements, including business continuity in the event of a disaster.
overseeing the testing of the related vehicle systems, negotiating the hardware and software interfaces to integrate the systems into the vehicle as well as instrumenting and troubleshooting vehicles for testing, analyzing test date, and recommending solutions for failed tests.
Collaborates with developers and clients to develop precise business logic; participate in the training and support of lesser-experienced programmers; assist the programmer in interpreting and implementing departmental standards and guidelines.
Manage technical requirements in the crew station and human factors areas, to include geometry and layout, controls and displays, pilot-vehicle interface, alerting systems, transparencies and optical qualities, and helmet mounted displays.
Investigate component cost and weight reduction, and conduct feasibility for packaging electrical components and brackets throughout the vehicle as well as managing development projects, negotiating development & purchasing strategies, and coordinating with other departments, suppliers, and manufacturing.
