In this role, you will serve as a lead and member of a team supporting the client's accounting analysis and audit readiness efforts of the Department of Navy (DON) Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiative to meet the congressionally mandated 2017 deadline to achieve fully auditable financial statements. Perform a wide variety of analytics on the composition of DON fund balance with treasury financial statements.
In this role, the selected candidate will support day to day accounting department responsibilities including month end financial reporting, factory reporting requirements and forecasting, as well as balance sheet reconciliation and analysis.
