In this role, the selected candidate will implement data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication and other data issues.
A Database Administrator candidate reporting to the Division of Information Technology & Services will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all public safety operational data systems.
The individual who fills this position will continuously improve the companys database technologies by promoting standardization, documentation and simplification while ensuring a secure, reliable and performing platform.
The Database Administrator coordinates changes to computer databases, test and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. May plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
