The Supply Chain Advanced Systems Manager will lead the design, development, implementation and rollout of forecasting, inventory management models, advanced planning models and decision support tools for ADS supply chain management processes.
Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate activities surrounding Product Rationalization and End of Life (EOL) processes, Engineering Change Implementation, new Product Introduction, plus Excess and Obsolete inventory management.
Participating as a critical member of a cross-functional team in one of our Global Business Units or Spend Pool organizations to deliver a new product or technology to market, and creating sourcing strategies to improve the value, availability and technology of materials that support our existing product lines.
This position provides a unique mix of analytical and physical challenges due to the fast-paced nature of the business, and approximately 50% of a buyers time is spent outdoors in a hands-on environment.
The position holder is responsible for the effective utilization of enterprise resource planning tools (ERP) to facilitate the efficient planning, to support the manufacturing process and on-time delivery of products and services to the companys customers. These responsibilities include the purchasing, scheduling, warehousing and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
Accountable for material cost, long-term assurance of supply, material availability for production/shipments, supplier quality performance, compliance to the quality system as well as all purchasing related information and data management.
