The production supervisor position is responsible for supervising shop employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
The Production Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the stamping and CNC machining departments. The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the teams are target driven and working as efficient as possible.
Identifies and remains current on market trends. Determines product/service lifecycle implications and makes recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success.
Develop, document, improve and standardize the invoicing department work processes and policies; assist team with matching client invoices to timecards and review client invoicing for accuracy as needed.
In this role, the selected candidate will supervise employees in a filter manufacturing and assembly environment on assigned shift and department(s) to achieve scheduled production volume within acceptable production, quality, and scrap levels.
Prioritize team workload to ensure that
sales orders are processed and installed in a timely and accurate manor; customarily and regularly directs the work of at least two or more other full-time employees or their equivalent.
As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of an account, which includes maintaining revenue generation, safety, equipment maintenance, payroll and billing, and ensuring Customer Value Delivery.
Organizes and assigns work within a work cell to utilize available skills, knowledge and experience, labor hours, machines and tooling to the best advantages to obtain most favorable machining costs, quality and workmanship.
