This position is responsible for providing a full range of drawing production work including problem analysis, design layout and calculations on non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
Ensure equipment is performing effectively & efficiently, analyzing equipment operating data when available Create & maintain process documentation, setup spare parts for production equipment Train personnel on current & new processes/equipment.
Responsible for the development and implementation of computer controlled manufacturing processes ( such as foundry furnaces, dip lines, autoclave, etc. ), and for assuring the accuracy and reliability of those processes.
Identify opportunities to streamline operations and promote efficient and productive ACAD techniques within the planning department; attend coordination meetings to work with engineers and other trades to coordinate the projects work.
Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
In this role, the selected candidate will resolve supplier designed equipment issues; lead projects with component suppliers to meet required performance and reliability objectives within a defined schedule and budget.
In this role, the selected candidate must have the ability to size and source mechanical components, develop/edit BOMs; well-developed communication skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems, support company sales associates, and interact with customers if needed.
Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the EM analysis, design, test, or integration required to define and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
