The selected individual is responsible for coaching and supervising maintenance partners. In addition, the individual is required to see that all preventive maintenance is complete and machinery is maintained, handles the budget for the Maintenance Department and is involved in health and safety.
Assure timely and relevant communications to and from all levels. This includes assuring communications to Department Manager, between shifts and to related departments, following the organizations Elevation Decision Tree and ensuring full adherence to it.
Ensure the training and development of the team on all technical aspects of DC maintenance including, but not limited to, conveyor, HVAC, material handling equipment, hydraulic refrigeration and building support systems.
Maintain SAP documentation concerning all maintenance activities Communicate with and assist Tool Stores to maintain SAP to reflect current processes and equipment Issue purchase orders for the procurement of tools and materials to complete maintenance work orders.
Ensure the safety and well-being of one's self and all the employees in the manufacturing facility. Identify areas where safety issues could arise and take measures to proactively address the concerns.
Provide direction to ensure processes, including equipment, fixturing, fixture design, routings, programming, tooling, and standard work, required to produce aircraft components are available as needed, on time and appropriate for the application.
