The Assistant Prosecuting Attorney provides coverage for his/her assigned court as well as backup coverage for other courts; he/she will review and prepare cases, subpoena necessary witnesses for hearings, oversee discovery compliance, prepare and file motions, respond to motions, and meet with victims/witnesses/officers.
The provider will support family medicine and acute care medical visits making professional judgments, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, reviewing results, counseling patients, making appropriate recommendations, and prescribing medications all in accordance with hospital mission and values.
Collaborates with the surgeon and the healthcare team in performatin a safe operation with optimal outcomes for the patient. The FA is accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
Conducts thorough medical histories, performs complete physical examinations (where indicated), initiates appropriate lab, radiology tests or other special tests required for evaluation of illness, and scrutinizes lab data on new and former clinic patients and hospital admissions to establish a record of the patient's current health status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan with direct review by a physician.
Provides information and answers routine questions of patients regarding their disease, including preventive health maintenance topics such as diet, weight, smoking and topics related to medical specialty, with basic recommendations.
Performs most complex legal research (example: researches law utilizing various programs such as PCI, WestLaw and state specific web sites); incorporates research and responses into various legal databases used to store research.
overseeing the testing of the related vehicle systems, negotiating the hardware and software interfaces to integrate the systems into the vehicle as well as instrumenting and troubleshooting vehicles for testing, analyzing test date, and recommending solutions for failed tests.
