The Lead Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing and developing Business Intelligence (BI) front-end solutions. The position is also responsible for requirements gathering, project management, constructing functional designs, communicating with team members and business stakeholders, and supporting existing business intelligence applications.
The Lead ETL Developer position will provide hands to keyboard support as well as direction to junior developers in all aspects of the design, mapping, development, and testing of data movement for a data warehouse environment, with emphasis on the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) process.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and deliver long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision and standards in conjunction with data users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
In this role, the selected candidate will translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop strong relationships with end users to understand how they are using existing reporting and what enhancements are necessary to better support their needs.
In this role, the selected candidate performs backup and recovery on Database Management Systems, configures database parameters, and prototype designs against logical data models, defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating the overall BI solution architecture and will work directly with developers to deliver this full life cycle project with optimal reporting solutions for the end users.
In this role, the selected candidate will lead and assist development team in the design of new BI solutions using the MS BI Stack; work closely with the business users to proactively improve overall user experience through improved schema design.
