In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing civil/structural technical support as a lead engineer on the most complex and significant projects encompassing project planning, development, implementation, and modification of glass container facilities, using considerable engineering knowledge and expertise.
The successful candidates will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate engineering courses specific to their specialty area online and/or in a traditional classroom setting, participate in service related activities, develop an externally funded research program in the applicable engineering field of expertise, advise graduate and undergraduate students, and publish research results in professional journals.
The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting engineering team with development of calculations, design documents, and permit applications, gathering information for inclusion in engineering reports, technical studies; and assisting project managers and project engineers on other projects, as needed.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience in civil design and storm water management; AutoCAD experience is required as well as Architectural design experience for commercial renovations.
In this position, you will perform complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. He / She will prepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles.
