Develop your understanding of flight technology; design engineering; stress and fatigue analysis; aerodynamics analysis; flight test engineering and other engineering related disciplines in order to establish a well-rounded understand of flight testing.
The selected candidate will provide system test and evaluation support to the Tomahawk Weapon System to include test tool development, system test analysis, system testing, general test support, software and hardware testing, configuration management, and system and software process improvement.
In this role, the selected candidate performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
In this role, you will develop, implement and maintain automation frameworks for effective and efficient test execution for various types of software applications including, but not limited to, data warehousing, file movement, and web services.
In this role, you will be responsible to perform complex test engineering tasks and problem solving under the supervision of senior engineering staff in compliance with the Continental development process achieving cost, quality, safety and schedule initiatives.
Monitor adherence to quality standards in development, testing and business processes and able to produce quantifiable metrics to measure success; ensures test deliverables are prepared per enterprise guidelines.
The Test Engineer will perform test activities including developer/capability level testing, functional level testing (FQT/Verification and Validation), software/system integration testing, or AEGIS combat systems integration land based testing.
