Performs complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
Deliver products and services to government clients in the field of directed energy, working on complex technical problems to provide highly innovative solutions, develop advanced technology ideas, and guide development into a final product.
Design, develop, and implement test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure reliability of warfare systems in conjunction with system specifications and defined system of system capabilities.
Work with the project management team to develop comprehensive project plans, labor forecasts and schedules. Provide leadership and guidance on large scale infrastructure projects spanning a wide variety of technology areas.
Responsibilities include attending flight debriefs, capturing and monitoring flight to flight issues and squawks, troubleshooting system failures and providing technical support for problem resolution.
Participate in program integrated product teams (IPTs) and drive the proper application of systems engineering processes. Support the DoD 5000 process for system acquisitions, including systems engineering plans, System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR), system certification processes, and specialty engineering activities.
