This position will be responsible for ensuring that software development meets quality expectations. Associates in this position must be experienced in advanced programming, design patterns, and databases.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience in developing rigorous test case scenarios using UML or similar technology; previous experience validating business requirements and design specifications with users.
The selected individual will work as part of a multi-contractor team providing direct support to our Combat Direction Systems Activity (CDSA) Dam Neck customer performing software and system engineering for shipboard and shore based training systems.
In this role, the selected candidate will assure that application designs are consistent with industry best practices application attributes (including scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility).
In this role, you will be responsible for participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, typically for an assigned business unit or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms.
In this role, you will provide review and mentorship of others within the larger project in evaluating the business objectives, developing user requirements and generating technical specifications. Drive efficient resolution for system outages as well as performance and functional shortcomings.
