The Control Engineer provides technical information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design requirements; troubleshoots engineering related installation problems; acts as a liaison with the client and/or owner regarding the project process.
Performs systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
Provide technical support for a variety of water and wastewater system related projects, including pumping stations, pipeline and collection systems, and treatment facility planning, design and construction administration.
Researches and resolves drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interference and works with owner and others to resolve issues. Prepares field design change requisitions as required; generates requests for information (RFI). Reviews all shop drawings, design drawings, calculations and submitted technical data for accuracy and conformance to specifications and constructability.
Work with internal and external resources in the development, acquisition and installation of new equipment.Process Development of new products and identification of robust, new cost effective processes and capital.
This role will support multiple solar projects concurrently, in varying functional capacities as described above. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them within the established timeframe.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide consistent support of a 24/7 Co-Extrusion and Thermoforming operation; project work aimed at improving quality, reducing waste and improving productivity through equipment, controls and design improvements.
