In this role, you will supervises and coordinates monthly and annual closing cycles, general ledger accounting and reconciliation, and ensures internal controls function as prescribed and in accordance with company policies / directives.
As a Controller you will establish and implement working capital control programs, enforcing policies designed to maximize internal control of inventories, cash and equipment. You will be responsible for preparation of financial and operating reports and conduct and document moderate financial analysis projects.
The Divisional Controller will be responsible for the overall financial leadership and management of several plants to include budgeting, controlling, financial planning and analysis and internal controls.
In this role, you will provides analysis, counsel, advice and recommendations to help plant management make operating decisions to reduce costs, improve profits and return on investment and to achieve goals and plans.
The Controller position is responsible in implementing and directing accounting activities for DX1, a division of Dominion Enterprises. The Controller will manage the finance and billing / collection teams and should be able to prioritize responsibilities using sound judgment to effectively handle and respond to complex situations with minimal supervision.
