Responsibilities include generating high level, detailed system requirements, developing epics / stories for Agile software development, and creating / grooming backlogs related to projects in collaboration with the product owner.
Assist the business users with activities related to software change requests, including creation and execution of test scripts to test business functionality, establishment of training plans and creation of user training documentation.
Ensure all projects are completed in WMIS and the Project Coordinators/Inspectors finalized all tasks and appropriately completed all crew rate and labor plus invoices. Ensure maps are accurately and timely submitted to GIS team (ensure locate contractor has drawings prior to placement in GIS).
The Business Analyst effectively facilitates the gathering, analysis, prioritization and categorization of complex business requirements in the revenue business lines s/he supports; leads and directs business teams in medium to large projects creating new business solutions or enhancements to existing business solutions.
Apply accepted analytical techniques using contemporary models and statistical tools. Provide capabilities to translate complex models into user-driven interfaces, including a Python-based HTML site or Analytical tool integrated into a SharePoint site.
This individual will conduct operations research by applying scientific, mathematics, and statistical methodologies to the study and analysis of technological problems in relation to engineering and scientific development of processes, systems, and equipment.
Establish a list of at least the top ten routine business and work system processes that consume time and resources, and provide recommendations for improvement and transformation as prioritized and directed by the COR. Ensure ICoE Microsoft SharePoint and SMS capabilities, and the byproducts thereof, are operational continuously, monitored/tested daily, fixes/minor adjustments are completed
