In this role, the selected candidate will plan and develop dynamic plans and activities designed to foster student engagement; adapt course outlines, and provide the level of support needed by each student through the development and delivery of a flexible structure and classroom design; ensure that the classroom curriculum meets the physical, emotional, creative and educational needs of assigned students.
In this role, the selected candidate will evaluate and provide appropriate special education services to assigned children. Oversee activities of assigned teacher assistants and aides; communicate appropriately and in a timely manner with families of assigned children.
In this role, the selected candidate will be Responsible for organization and implementation of the classroom program including, classroom behavior program, school wide behavior program, PBIS, IEPs, Behavior treatment plans, classroom data.
In this role, the selected candidate will evaluate students' progress level of proficiency in order to prescribe suitable programming and evaluate their progress in meeting educational, social, prevocational/vocational goals.
In this role, the selected candidate will confer with parents, administrators, school psychologists, and other professionals to develop; individual Education Plans (IEP) for each student in the assigned classroom as well as behavior plans.
